Introducing the Go Green Scheme for Education

10 May, 2022

The Go Green Scheme is an initiative founded by Tel Group. Allowing the education sector to apply for £1000 funding towards a eco project within their school.

Schools are currently focusing on improving their sustainability and environmental habits, not only for learning, but for the planet. Tel Group’s Go Green scheme opens up the education sector to additional funding towards their eco projects within the school.

Although the introduction of eco projects is a keen strategy amongst schools, budgets are tight and the funding isn’t available. Tel Group’s Go Green Scheme provides your school with an incentive to take the next step towards becoming ecologically conscious.

This will not only help your school meet your sustainability goals, but it will also educate and empower your students and staff.

‘Taking critical steps in reducing your negative environmental impact’

“At Tel Group, we are always looking for new ways to lessen our negative environmental impact. With the Go Green Scheme, we are working with the education sector to take critical steps in doing so too without the constraint of budgets and resources.

In order to prepare young people for the future, it is critical that schools move towards sustainable development. It is up to each school to determine how sustainability should be reflected in its ethos and daily operations. This scheme provides a means to facilitate this initiative and cultivate a positive and progressive culture in whichever way they deem fit.

Tel Group is a supporter of sustainable development in education, sponsoring initiatives such as Solihull’s Greener School Awards. Witnessing the benefits of such projects, we are launching the Go Green Scheme to assist schools without the pressure of expense.” David Murphy, Director of Tel Group

What would your school spend the funding on?

Whether the goal is to improve the school curriculum, invest in an eco area, or take your students on an eco trip, it is entirely up to the discretion of the school. All you need to do to apply is read the T&Cs and fill in the form on our website.

Entry for the scheme will close on the 27th May 2022.
