THE CLIENT

Founded in 2012, the Help Harry Help Others Cancer Charity (HHHO) supports the mental well-being of cancer patients and those close to them.

From research, to grants and a drop in cancer support centre, they provide a comprehensive range of emotional, physical, and financial support to those facing hardships. 

Tel Group has proudly supported Help Harry Help Others (HHHO) as its chosen charity for many years. From sponsoring events to raising funds, we’re committed to helping HHHO make a difference. 

THE SITUATION

Objective: Modernise and strengthen the charity’s technology infrastructure to enhance operations through upgraded communications, connectivity, and IT support. 

HHHO relied heavily on outdated technology, including an obsolete telephone system, limited Wi-Fi, and unreliable broadband connectivity.

Recognising the need to provide timely and reliable support, they identified an urgent need to upgrade these essential communication and connectivity channels.

In addition to this upgrade, HHHO sought support across their ICT infrastructure, aiming for reliable assistance to maintain, enhance, and streamline their systems.

THE RESULT

After thoroughly assessing HHHO’s requirements, we developed a long-term plan to modernise and support their entire IT infrastructure. 

The Tel Group team is now collaborating with HHHO in an ongoing partnership, focused on providing continual support and implementing essential system upgrades to enhance their operations.

While we have supported the charity’s fundraising initiatives for many years, we are now privileged to deepen our impact by providing IT expertise, empowering them to better serve their community.

TELEPHONE SYSTEMS & MOBILES

Our first project focused on overhauling HHHO’s telephony system, upgrading them to a Hosted VoIP system to enhance both external and internal communications. 

Additionally, we equipped the staff with mobile devices that are seamlessly integrated into their new telephone system, allowing for enhanced flexibility.

WI-FI & BROADBAND

HHHO needed an infrastructure upgrade to support the new phone system and enhance operational capabilities, leading to improvements in Wi-Fi and broadband.

We installed high-speed broadband that supports VoIP and online activities without interruptions, ensuring robust and consistent internet connectivity.

Access points were installed throughout the site to provide complete wi-fi coverage across the premises. As a result, HHHO now benefits from superior speeds and seamless connectivity.

IT SUPPORT

As HHHO’s dedicated IT support partners, Tel Group provides both remote and on-site support, including proactive monitoring, resolution of day-to-day issues, and strategic long-term planning. With this partnership, HHHO can have peace of mind knowing their IT systems are fully supported and that a clear plan is in place for future enhancements.

THE EXTRA MILE

As HHHO are our chosen charity, we made the decision to carry out all installations free of charge. HHHO only incurred costs for the new hardware and their ongoing support, connectivity and telephony bills.
