Join Tel Group as an Executive Network Manager

We are looking to recruit an Executive Network Manager who will be looking after several schools in the North West area, overseeing Network Managers.

The role of Executive Network Manager will be leading a group of IT technicians working in schools across the Trust.

Hours: 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year. 

Salary: £37,500 – £40,000 depending on experience.

Location: North West England.

Purpose of the Post:

To take on a lead role in supporting Network Managers in various schools in the North West and supporting the development of a consistent approach to IT across Multi-Academy Trusts & schools.

Lead and support a team of school IT technicians to ensure schools are supported in a timely manner with any technical issues.

Summary of duties to be covered by the post:

  • Support strategic development of IT across the schools
  • Develop efficient use of IT within the schools by sharing best practice
  • Lead and support a group of IT Network Managers and IT technicians
  • Ensure IT provides a quality service to the schools and users
  • Support the central leadership team with any IT decisions
  • Train staff as appropriate to develop confidence in using new systems
  • Administration of central systems, including access and email system
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers/contractors where appropriate
  • Provide end user support as required

  • Excellent general technological knowledge particularly with Server environments
  • Experience of administering a large multisite Google Cloud implementation
