South Gloucestershire Centrex Switch Off – Council Feedback

Tel Group have extensive experience dealing with local authorities on Centrex terminations.

“South Gloucestershire Council engaged with Tel Group who had proactively reached out to us to aid and support our need to supply our Schools and other Partners with an alternative Solution following the notification that Centrex for our area was being decommissioned.

We communicated to all our schools and Partners to inform them of the change of services and informed them of both the replacement offer from Virgin Media and also the Proposed Solution from Tel Group, and of course the opportunity to do their own procurement exercise with other suppliers.

The majority of our schools decided that the Tel Group was the right solution for their needs, the price was very competitive and also that the engagement from them was very encouraging.

Throughout the process of the LA Schools and Partners moving across to the Tel Group Solution the support both from the front and back office has been excellent and the migrations across have been seamless, the Tel Group have communicated to South Gloucestershire throughout the process.

The feedback from our schools has been a very positive one who have all made reference to the great communication, speed and helpfulness of Tel Group.”

I just wanted to say how pleased I am with how smoothly the install went. Aidan and Kieran were both brilliant. We are all absolutely over the moon with our new phones and I am so chuffed how easy it all was. Aidan also went out of his way to assist the Lift Engineer in getting the system in place there.

Thank you and your team for making this all happen.

We have been really impressed with the new phone system Tel Group installed, the level of service we received from day one has been outstanding.

We had a few problems from our council who told us it would be impossible to port our numbers across and would need new ones, two weeks later we had our new phone system in place with Tel Group using our own numbers!

Thanks so much for installing our new telephone system. We are really pleased with it. The installation went really smoothly and the engineers were very helpful.

From my perspective the advantages of moving to Tel Group are that we can have a greater number of handsets and much more flexibility for the same price as our previous contract.
